I first took up photography when i was in my last year of high school and was immediately hooked. It was mostly black and white photography though and it would take another year before i ventured into colour photography…
I used photography on and off through my art foundation then finally started doing colour photography when I started my degree in Graphic Design. Through learning how to be a designer my approach to photography changed noticeably for the better and finally in my final year of Graphics realised that my true calling was photography (cheesy I know). And so here I am … doing a second degree in photography, right here in merry ‘ol Bristol.
Lately I have been doing a lot of fashion photography, aiding the fashion students on my campus and as it seems I think that I might be heading into this direction in the future! I’m also greatly interested in digital art and creative digital creative photography… as well as the fashion photography I’d like to do fantasy photography and create surreal, improbable and incredible worlds and scenarios (basically photos that leave you slack jawed and thinking, “what the f***?!”). So watch this space and I hope you enjoy the fruits of my labour.
