My love with photography started way back in 1994 when my dad bought me a classic cannon ae1-p. Myself and a few friends used to go surfing to the north devon coastlines of woolacombe & croyde, where the camera would be used constantly.
As I got a bit older my photography dried up a bit (not having time to go away to new locations was a big facture) but then around April 2000 I decided to buy a small digital compact along with a filter set and add on zoom lenses. This started a new love and within a few months I was starting to feel that my new camera didn't offer enough creativity. So, after many visits to ebay I purchased a cannon d60 digital slr. With my new camera and an ever growing list of lenses, filters, tripods, monopods etc i have found that my learning curve has a new dynamic with regards to my approch and understanding of photography.
Nowadays my camera gets used mainly for portraits of my daughters and friends, I also like to go out with the dogs into the countryside and snap floral & landscape photography. Parallel to this, i have a keen interest in capturing city night shots & abstract photography.
